I won’t hear more of it.
Less, I can never hear. Though
bereft of it lays the monotony- look, it’s life again,
that fear that silence is lingering.
In the headlines today: a politician’s made blissful love.
Demure butterflies have slain a dragon, now repenting.
A moon carver carved the moon, came back by dinner. These astonishing
tales, at a stretch, it’s stretching thin.
